Join the Charlotte Chorale – Celebrate 30 years of quality choral music with the 2018-19 Season

The Charlotte Chorale is seeking new singers to join the Chorale for the upcoming 2018-19 Season.  The Charlotte Chorale is the largest community choir in the area with three major concerts scheduled.  Rehearsals begin in October. This season is the Chorale’s 30th year in Charlotte County. The chorale is currently under the outstanding direction of Dr. William Dederer. All voice parts with prior choral experience are encouraged to contact our membership coordinator, Jean Sutton at 864-420-3146.  Rehearsals are Monday nights at 7 p.m. at the United Methodist Church (Quesada Ave, Port Charlotte).

  • Sunday, December 9: A Season of Hope
  • Saturday, March 2: Bach to Bacharach
  • Saturday, April 13: Puttin’ on the Glitz

Each of the three concerts begins at 4 p.m. at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center (CPAC, 701 Carmalita Street, Punta Gorda). Cost: $65 for the season, $25 a performance for adults; $25 for the season, $10 a performance for students.  Info: www.charlottechorale.com or (941) 204-0033.
