Seven Concerts and sevens jams are provided at the Charlotte Culture Center, 2280 Aaron St each year for both CCJS members and the public. Memberships cost $50 for single and $90 for a couple which provides FREE entry to all activities of CCJS. Public cost is $20 per concert and $5 for each jam held at Kingsway Golf Course, 13625 SW Kingsway Cir, Lake Suzy, FL 34269.

Higher Ground Performing Arts ‘s focus is on Community Outreach, Ministry and Performance. We offer Dance classes for ages 8 thru adult. Our Curriculum includes Break Dance, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Liturgical Dance, Choreography, Master Classes and Fitness Classes. Levels will be beginner and intermediate/adv. Higher Ground also produces Theatrical Productions and offers Community Based Education sponsored by the Inspire the arts Foundation. . We present seven live plays each season which starts in September and concludes at the end of June.for a total of 115 performances. We present at least 5 comedies, one drama and one mystery each season. We use all local talent and all our actors are unpaid, we do it for the love of theater.

Visual Arts Center

The Visual Arts Center’s mission is to inspire, explore, create and promote art in Southwest Florida. The Center boasts three galleries, always free and open to the public, a Gift Shop featuring local artists’ wares, pottery and jewelry studios and an art resource library for members. Accomplished instructors teach classes and workshops in all art mediums. Portrait painting, life drawing sessions and Plein air outings are offered weekly.
