A fine arts and crafts event in Charlotte County!
This fine art and craft event will offer new original paintings, drawings, pastels, photography, ceramics, clay, glass, sculpture, wood working and carvings, multi-media, fiber art and jewelry from the studios and workshops of local and statewide artists. The artists or their representative will be present at their booth to answer questions about their work. Live art demonstrations will also be offered.
Please submit three images of your work along with an image or rendering of your booth presentation. The entry fee is $125.00 for artists or non-profit members with current membership of the Arts and Humanities Council of Charlotte County, Inc., also known as Charlotte Arts. Your membership must be current and paid through March 2021. Artists or organizations who are not members are welcome with an entry fee of $175.00, which will include a membership for one year from the date of payment.
You will receive confirmation of your participation within seven days of submission.
This art show will be broadcast live online via StreamYard on three virtual channels by WDKW 97.5 FM radio. Artists are also encouraged to submit an artist profile video of up to 3 minutes to be aired during the event. Roaming videographers will also stream during the event.
The application/registration period closes on February 20, 2021.
Setup will be Friday evening, March 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Failure to setup in advance of the event will cause forfeiture of the booth with no refund. Teardown of the booths will be Saturday evening, March 6 from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Participation is limited to 86 Booths.
Youth Artists (under 18 years of age) are invited to create their own works of art to show with a chance to win cash prizes. Youth Artists will be displayed at one location, together, and must submit no more than two pieces of art for consideration. Booth Artists will judge the Youth Artists for the cash prizes. The awards will be announced at 4:30 p.m. at the event.
